Hi Honey Bee!

Welcome to the Melting Pot. Home to Mama Melting Pot Crafts & Things, LLC. My name is Kailee Lewis and I am the Founder and Head Designer of the Melting Pot family.

This Black Owned business was born out of the labors of love, community, and creativity. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been looking for ways to use the creative energies I have been given. I use many mediums for the things I refer to as art. Only a few of them are actually for sale. I’ve painted and used spray paint for some really cool classroom projects (more on those projects are in the blog section of our website!). I have done some T-shirt making and in 2022, I found this cute new and unexpected use for my Cricut and my Heat Press.

One of my closest friends of over a decade was in search of a Graduation stole and my "I saw it on [insert various social media sites], I can do that" attitude led me to volunteering. Here I was, looking for all of these different reasons to be creative, and here my good sis was, as always, to lend a hand. So, I made my first graduation stoles for the class of 2022. Fast forward, I’ve made quite a few more since then, got some paperwork together, and here we are: a Black Owned Craft Business. Mama Melting Pot owning her little sliver of the internet, bringing you Graduation Stoles and some other celebratory items.

Mama Melting Pot Crafts & Things, LLC is a goal achieved, a dream realized, a mission accomplished. And in the same breath, it is the beginning of a whole new chapter. I’m so excited you’ve decided to join us. We’ve got big plans ahead!
